# DICT (BACEN)

> PIX-key registry — resolves a PIX key to counterpart identity.

DICT — *Diretório de Identificadores de Contas Transacionais* — is BACEN's PIX-key directory. Given a PIX key (CPF, CNPJ, email, phone, or random alias), it resolves the holder's account and identity.

In Frayme transaction-monitoring workflows, DICT lookup is used for counterpart enrichment when the originator is flagged as high-risk, feeding the resolved identity into downstream enrichment steps.
