# AI model provider

> Run AI nodes and drafted information requests on your own Anthropic key.

export const Shot = ({id, alt, caption}) => <Frame caption={caption}>
    <img className="block dark:hidden rounded-lg" src={`/images/guides/${id}.light.png`} alt={alt} loading="lazy" decoding="async" />
    <img className="hidden dark:block rounded-lg" src={`/images/guides/${id}.dark.png`} alt={alt} loading="lazy" decoding="async" />
  </Frame>;

**Settings → AI** needs `datasources:write`.

## What runs on your key

AI nodes in your flows and drafted information requests. Case analysis in Frayme's risk engine always runs on Frayme's account and is never billed to your key.

<Shot id="admin/ai-01-not-configured" alt="AI Model Provider, not configured" caption="Until you add a key, AI runs on Frayme's account." />

## Add your key

**Use your own key** opens the form. Paste an **Anthropic API key**; Frayme stores it encrypted and never shows it again.

<Shot id="admin/ai-02-form" alt="Anthropic API key form" caption="Stored encrypted." />

## Replace or remove

Once configured the card shows the key's hint and when it was added, with **Replace** and **Remove**. Removing returns AI nodes to Frayme's account.

## Required model access

The card lists the models your key must have access to; they are the same models the AI node's **Model** select offers.

<Shot id="admin/ai-04-readonly" alt="AI settings read-only" caption="Without datasources:write the card is read-only." />
