# Tags and notes

> Label a case with the managed tags and keep the internal conversation in notes.

## Tags on a case

The **Tags** line under the subject shows the tags applied to the case as coloured chips. Click **×** on a chip to remove it. The dashed **+ label** chips are the tags you can still add; click one to apply it.

Tags show on the queue rows and in Cases, so they work as a shared triage vocabulary.

## Where tags come from

Only enabled tags from **Settings → Tags** are offered. If none exist the line reads **No tags configured (Settings → Tags)**; ask a manager or senior analyst to add some. Your systems can also apply tags through the API, restricted to the same vocabulary.

## Notes

Notes are internal to your tenant. They are visible to every analyst on the case and never leave Frayme.

    Press `N` or click into **Add a note...**. `⌘+Enter` or **Add Note** submits.

    Open a note's menu to **Pin note** (keeps it on top), **Flag for review**, or **Delete** (only your own notes).

Adding a note also satisfies the decline rule: a decline needs a reason or a note.
