Receita Federal do Brasil is the authoritative source for CPF and CNPJ status. Frayme calls it directly for the canonical situação cadastral — the registry-status check that ultimately decides whether a Brazilian identity is usable. It covers both natural-person KYC (CPF validation, including name, date of birth, and registration status) and KYB (CNPJ validation, including corporate composition and UBO data via the QSA registry).
